The PX comes through

Friday, Mar 16, 1945

With our GIs are finally eating better in Europe, Daddy decided to splurge on a roast at the PX for our Sabbath dinner. This is a real treat for Daddy, who says he’s a meat and potatoes guy, whatever that means. He also  says it’s not just to have a special meal but because we’ll really need to build up lots of energy for a special outdoor jobs this spring.

Light the Sabbath candles.
