A Valentine’s Day Present

Wednesday, Feb. 14, 1945

denver-union-stationI’m too young for Valentine cards or candy but I got a much better gift today. We went down to the Denver Union Station and you’ll never guess who was there waiting for us: GRANDMA AND GRANDPA!! They actually came from Connecticut by bus and are very tired. They will be here for almost a month and Mommy has planned lots of sightseeing. I’m so happy they’re here even though they didn’t bring Rikki-Tikki-Tavi. I could have introduced him to all my other doggie friends.
