Denver weather

Thursday, Feb. 8, 1945

Another beautiful day outdoors. Mommy wrote home, “It was a real Spring day, just like April back home. I understand that they have days like that very often after the beginning of January and that every now and then it is winter for a day. But I can take a day here and there of real cold weather as long as I know that it will soon be warm again. It was wonderful!” Indoors, she reports that she and Daddy are just “nibbling away on jobs.” Funny, though. The nursery is done but there are still no nurses in it.
