A new look for spring

Wednesday, Feb. 7, 1945

The weather here is so mild. Mommy and I sat outside without coats on – something we’d never try in New England at this time of year. No wonder there’s lots of interest in spring fashions. Mommy doesn’t wear hats and I just wear wool bonnets. But it’s fun to dream about something more glamorous. Designers are betting big on veiling this year.
