The Lone Ranger

screen-shot-2017-01-21-at-3-45-01-pmDaddy says it’s a regular three-ring circus here. I had the run of the house while Mommy unpacked and put away all the stuff she shipped weeks ago. The place is huge – so big that Daddy closed off the dining room and we eat in a nice kitchen nook. We listened to the radio and cheered when we heard the MacArthur has taken Clark Field. As soon as Daddy came home from work, he changed into old clothes and started painting the baseboards in a big sunny room off the master bedroom. He and Mommy call it a “nursery” but I don’t see any nurses here. Before dinner we listened to “The Lone Ranger.” Daddy still loves Jack Benny but says this is the show to listen to in Colorado. Then we feasted on a special Sabbath dinner of broiled mackerel.

Light the Sabbath candles.
