Malmedy Massacre

Sunday, Jan 14, 1945

News is just coming out of a grisly discovery as Patton’s army recovers lost ground. In Malmedy, Belgium, Germans executed unarmed American soldiers who had just surrendered. They left the bodies to freeze in a field. What a difference from the way our men reverently buried to bodies of the young German ammunition truck drivers.
