It’s Kismet

Wednesday, Nov.1, 1944

I almost starred in a movie last night. Mommy wrote home: “We went to the movies at the post to see ‘Kismet’ but Susie didn’t enjoy it. She started running up and down the aisle and yelling in the midst of the saddest part. I had to chase her and bring her back so I missed it.” It’s a wonder we weren’t thrown out and told never ever to come back. Speaking of being thrown out, Zeeuws & Flanders were liberated from the Nazis today in the Belgium.
