I Discover Cats!

1944_cats_01Cats! I didn’t know such a wonderful animal existed. I only knew dogs. I love Grandma and Grandpa’s dog, Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, but now I love cats. Here’s what happened after Mommy put me outside in the playpen. A mommy cat and her kittens strolled right in and made themselves comfortable with me. Mommy wrote home : “The mother cat sits still and lets Susie rub her back. While she rubs, she says, ‘Ahhh Ahh’ the way she thinks she’s heard us do it. Then she tries to feed the cat leaves and mud. One of the kittens has 8 toes on each paw and is lots of fun.” The cats even have the run of the house.
