Do fish sweat?

Rambling_1Do fish sweat? This is not a scientific question but an idea Daddy floated in the letter he wrote home today: “The question of whether fish perspire or not has been worrying a lot of people for a long time. However, after living here for a few weeks the answer becomes clear because all you have to do is stand still for a few minutes and a little lake of sweat will be up to your ankles. Since only fish live in the ocean, they must have sweat a lot and in that way, the ocean was formed. As further proof, both sweat and ocean water are salty. I wouldn’t be surprised if we have a very hot summer, if the ocean gets a lot higher on account of the fish sweating.” He decorated the letter with this little depiction of our family. That’s me in the middle. (I don’t walk yet.)
