1944 Denver Post 2Monday, May 22, 1944

Yesterday I turned nine – months, that is. In her letter home, my mother reported that I say “da da,” “pa pa,” and “ba ba.” Teeth? “One and change.” I eat eggs and am getting use to “milk from a cup even though most of it still comes from the bottle.” My health routine includes “a nude sun bath every day” and I’m a devoted fan of The Denver Post.
