Saying Goodby at Pennsylvania Station

New York City, at last! Gosh, Pennsylvania Station is beautiful. But sad, too. It’s filled with people saying goodby to each other. Not so many saying hello. Anyway, for us this isn’t the end of the line. We are taking a taxi across town to Grand Central Station and then we’ll take another train to my grandparents’ home in Connecticut. They’ll meet us at the station in Bridgeport. We’re tired and a bit hungry but grandma and grandpa will take care of that.
